DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Obtaining a clear understanding of your objectives and experiences is an important part of the coaching process. To ensure that all necessary information is collected efficiently and effectively, candidates agree to review the Prep Your Path Career Development Worksheet in a timely manner if necessaary. Candidates also agree to telephone or email discussions as needed.

WRITING PROCESS
Once all necessary information has been provided, a resume, letter, LinkedIn profile, and application essays are completed within seven days, including weekends, on average. Revisions and final delivery dates are determined by both parties at the beginning of service and modified as needed throughout the project.

Resume writing typically consists of one 20-minute complimentary consultation, one first draft; one 30-minute to 1-hour session to review Draft #1; and 2-5 rounds of minor editing by email or text to finalize drafts. Initial drafts are delivered to the Client within three days of the start date of the project on average. The number of revisions depends on the individual needs of the Client. Prep Your Path provides independent proofreading services to check for spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors. As with most professional resume writers, final proofreading is the responsibility of the Client.

The Client agrees to make reasonable efforts — either by email or by telephone—to provide answers to questions during the intake and follow-up writing processes. Failure to respond in a timely fashion could result in project termination and loss of deposit. Clients recognize that from time to time, Prep Your Path may need to extend the project completion date due to workload. Similarly, the Client will advise Prep Your Path if he or she needs additional time to complete a project.
